Marketing for Gold Coast builders
A new home, an extension or a major renovation is a big decision. Before someone asks you to quote, they may want to see projects like theirs, check who they would be dealing with and confirm your licence. We set up your website, Google presence and follow-up so that check goes well, and the enquiry that follows is not left waiting.
No obligation. A short written plan built around your business.
Before the first call
What people look for before they contact a builder
Building work is a considered purchase, and people can take their time over it. When they look you up, these are some of the questions your marketing should answer clearly.
Work like theirs
Completed projects of a similar type and scale, with your own photos of the finished work — not stock images.
Who they would deal with
Who runs the business, who looks after the job and how to reach them.
Your licence
The name on your QBCC licence and the licence number, so they can check it for themselves.
How you work
What happens between the first conversation and the start of the build, in plain words.
Where you build
The parts of the Gold Coast and surrounds you actually take work in.
Licence details
Your QBCC licence details belong in your marketing
The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) says that if you hold a QBCC licence, you must include your licence number in all your advertising, including on social media. Its guidance also covers the name that appears with it, including when you advertise under a trading name.
In the website pages, ads and profiles we set up for you, we include the licence name and number you give us, and we ask you to confirm them before anything goes live.
This is a summary of the QBCC’s guidance, not legal advice. Check the current requirements with the QBCC.QBCC: AdvertisingSource checked October 2026

The services behind it
Where builder enquiries can come from
For a builder, each channel has a job. These are the ones we usually start the conversation with; the growth plan looks at which make sense for the projects you want.
- WebsitesA website that shows completed projects by type, explains how you work and carries your licence details — the place your other channels send people to check you out.
- Google Business ProfileHow your business appears on Google Search and Maps: project photos, the areas you serve and details kept accurate.
- Google AdsAds shown to people searching for a builder in the areas you work, sent to a page about the kind of project they are planning.
- Social mediaOrganic Instagram and Facebook posts made from your own projects — progress, finishes and handovers — approved by you before they go out.
Paid Meta Ads can reach people before they search. Whether it suits your business is something the growth plan looks at.
After the enquiry
Keeping track of a long sale
A building enquiry can take a long time to turn into a signed contract, so what happens after the first message matters as much as the message itself.
Enquiries from your connected website forms go into LC Flow, our lead tracking and response platform. You can see when each one arrived and, where it is available, the page, source or campaign it came from. You move it through Contacted, Quoted and Won or Lost, so you can see which enquiries turned into quotes and which quotes turned into jobs.
- Contacted
- Quoted
- Won or Lost
LC Flow tracks enquiries from connected website forms. Phone enquiries sit outside this form connection. Source and campaign information is shown where available.
Straight answers
What we don’t do
- We don’t promise a number of enquiries, jobs or rankings.
- We don’t write testimonials, invent reviews or use photos of other builders’ projects.
- We don’t give legal, licensing or contract advice — that stays between you, your advisers and the QBCC.
- We don’t quote or sell for you. LC Flow helps you keep track of your own follow-up.
